Random topic, but it's come up a lot in the past month or so. Many people ask why I'm not married with kids, or why I don't try harder to get hitched (That's my favorite question. Why MUST I get married in the first place?)
The answer to the original question is this: I love my life the way it is.
I enjoy the solitude, not having to check with anyone on whether or not it's alright for me to stay out all night, knowing that I have the opportunity to take a weekend trip without having to get a babysitter - the freedom is exhilarating. Having the support system of a family IS amazing. I know that, but I just don't want or need that at this point of my life.
So please, don't look at single gals with pity because their life is not "whole" without children to take care of or a husband to support them.
Our lives are fabulous and free.

Shame on anyone who judges you or questions you for being single!! There's a time in life for everything. And when/if the time comes that you're ready for a family you will know!!! Live up the single/independent life. :)
I love you. I just read that whole post in my head in your voice. You are remarkably incredible and I love you immeasurably!
